Today, we close out our 2 Part series on staying mentally strong when your life feels crazy. If you missed Part 1 in the series, you can catch up HERE.
Let’s dig back in with tips 6-10:
6) If you’re sad… Go ahead and CRY! It’s ok to let it out!
Think about it, when was the last time you had a good cry? It’s ok not to feel like you have to be strong day in and day out, despite what others may tell you. So, go on…. Let it on out if you need to.
7) Use more positive words.
Seek out positivity. The next time you catch yourself about to say something negative, try replacing it with something positive. This one can be a little tough at first. Especially if you’re used to seeking out the negative in a situation instead of the positive. But DO give this a try!
8) Write down a few things you are grateful for every day.
Have you ever noticed how when you’re grateful, you seem to open yourself to more and more good things, and then these things start showing up in your life?
It’s been said that gratitude is the great multiplier. Consider using a gratitude box or even a simple notebook where you jot down a few daily things for which you’re grateful.
9) From time to time, spend time alone.
These days it feels like we’re on ALL the time. Sometimes, it may even feel like we’re on 24/7. As women, we tend to be caregivers √…home √, work √, relationships √… We cover all the bases. We often get to the point where we feel guilty for taking some alone time. It can be exhausting!
Alone time gives you the chance to recharge and relax….and we KNOW you need it. We ALL need it!
